Who we are
AdaHQ is operated by Jamie Beaumont, based in the United Kingdom. We run the website at adahq.ai, which provides AI guides, tools, and resources for UK professional services firms.
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under UK GDPR.
For any privacy queries, contact us at: hello@adahq.ai
What data we collect
Email address (newsletter subscribers)
If you sign up for our weekly newsletter or request your AI plan by email, we collect your email address. This is provided voluntarily by you.
AI Plan Tool inputs
When you use our free AI Plan Tool, you provide information about your business type and the manual tasks you perform. This data is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your personalised plan. We do not store this data linked to your identity — it is processed transiently and not retained in a way that identifies you.
Usage data
Like most websites, we may collect anonymised usage data (e.g. pages visited, general location by country) to understand how the site is used and improve it. This data does not identify you personally.
Cookies
We use cookies to improve your experience, remember your preferences, and understand site usage. See our cookie banner for details. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage.
How we use your data
- To send you the weekly AdaHQ AI briefing (newsletter subscribers only)
- To deliver your personalised AI plan to your inbox if requested
- To improve the quality and relevance of our content and tools
- To understand how our site is being used at an aggregate level
We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.
Our data processors
We work with the following trusted third-party processors:
Supabase
We use Supabase for secure data storage (e.g. email subscriber lists). Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified and stores data in the EU. See their privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
Anthropic
The AI Plan Tool sends your business description and task inputs to Anthropic's API to generate your plan. Anthropic is our AI processing partner. Your inputs are not stored by us linked to your identity. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Vercel
Our website is hosted on Vercel. They process minimal technical data necessary to serve the site. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Legal basis for processing
Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:
- Consent — for sending you marketing emails and newsletters. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — for understanding how our site is used and improving our service, where this does not override your privacy rights.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have mishandled your data
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@adahq.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
How to unsubscribe or request deletion
To unsubscribe from our newsletter or request deletion of your data, email hello@adahq.ai with the subject line “Unsubscribe” or “Delete my data”. We'll action this promptly.
Data retention
We retain email addresses for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days. Anonymised usage data may be retained for longer for analytics purposes.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Significant changes will be communicated to newsletter subscribers.
