Microsoft Copilot Gets Deep Integration With Excel and Outlook

What Happened

Microsoft has released a significant update to Copilot inside Microsoft 365, with new features specifically for Excel and Outlook. In Excel, Copilot can now build charts, write formulas, spot trends, and generate summaries from raw data using plain language instructions. In Outlook, it can draft replies, summarise long email threads, and suggest actions based on your inbox patterns.

The update is rolling out to Microsoft 365 Business and Enterprise subscribers.
