Microsoft Copilot Gets Autonomous Agent Mode for Business Tasks

What Happened

Microsoft has released an autonomous agent mode for Microsoft 365 Copilot. Unlike standard Copilot, which responds to single prompts, the agent mode can be given a goal and will work through multiple steps to complete it. This includes actions like reading your email, updating a CRM entry in Dynamics, scheduling a follow-up meeting, and sending a summary, all from a single instruction.

The feature is rolling out to Microsoft 365 Business and Enterprise subscribers.
